 What's New At Ash-worth Time Bank

  We are putting together a fundraising package for Ash-worth Time Bank and would welcome any help in organising and running fundraising activities throughout 2010 If you are interested in helping out in any way, please give Susan or Caroline a call on 01829 751398.

Quiz Night - Friday 26th February - 7pm for 7.30pm - W.I. Church Road, Ashton Hayes: Come along and join us for this fun Quiz with raffle and prize for winning team. Tickets are £6 each, which includes glass of wine and home made buffet. Tickets available from Caroline on 01829 751398.

Holistic Therapy Pamper Days. Are you an unpaid carer or have you suffered a bereavement or depression? Why not join us for our monthly Pamper Days at Kelsall Methodist Room in Kelsall and receive relaxing holistic therapies form our qualified therapists? If you are a Therapist, perhaps you would like to join our Therapy Exchange and met other Therapists over a cup of cover and perhaps learn new skills? All therapies are free of charge and include: Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Reiki and other relaxation techniques. Our next Holistic Therapy days are:

If you are therapist and would like to give a couple of hours of your time to help people each month, please get in touch with us, we would love to hear from you. We organise a training programme for all therapists who join our team.

We hold regular Pilates classes in Kingsley Village Institute every Tuesday afternoon and in Ashton Hayes each Wednesday from 1.30pm. £3 per session (which pays for the tutor).

We also hold a Tai Chi class in Ashton Hayes each Thursday from 1.30pm - again the fee is £3 per session.

Ash-worth Time Bank has a lending library at the main office and also holds Reading, Walking and an Art group - we also organise regular textile classes, coffee mornings and social groups for members and supporters.

We have regular walking, reading, art groups in Ashton Hayes. Our art group meets every Wednesday at the Time Bank office 2pm until 4pm - all levels are welcome for this free class.

KINGSLEY ACTIVITIES: FULL UPDATE IN EARLY JANUARY

We have a regular Keep Fit class in Kingsley every Thursday at 3pm at Kingsley Village Institute. £3 per session for the over 50s - come along and get fit!

LENDING LIBRARY – TIME BANK OFFICE: 9.30am until 12.30pm - Monday - Friday - we have a wide selection of books to borrow, including audio books - come in and browse OR if you are housebound, why not call us and we will send you a reading list and deliver your choices.
